Matthew Harris (Principal)
Chef Matt’s career began in Atlanta, where he worked with renowned chefs and restauranteurs, including Kevin Rathbun and Pano Karatossos of the Buckhead Life Restaurant Group and Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
Matt opened several restaurants across the USA for Chef Vongerichten and then oversaw a multi-million dollar kitchen and outlet renovation and re-concepting at the exclusive Nantucket Yacht Club.
He opened his flagship restaurant, tupelo Park City, in 2015. Other concepts followed in quick succession, including RIME Raw Bar (at Deer Valley Resort®), the world’s first ski-in/ski-out raw bar; RIME | Seafood & Steak, The St. Regis Bar, Brasserie 7452, The Mountain Terrace, and La Stellina (all at The St. Regis Deer Valley); and most recently, Wild Ember BBQ.
Chef Matt’s culinary expertise garners acclaim from foodies and skiers alike. His dishes feature in Food and Wine, Bon Appetit, SKI, Town & Country, and more. Matt has appeared as a celebrity guest chef on CBS and on NBC’s Today Show, was selected to cook at the James Beard House, and is a James Beard Best Chef Semi-Finalist.
Maggie Alvarez (Principal)
A native of Asheville, NC, Maggie has over 15 years of luxury hospitality experience and is the recipient of several global excellence awards in luxury residential community management.
Maggie also partnered with Kiska Digital, a full service web design and web development firm. She collaborated on web strategies for businesses, User Experience Design (UX), Information Architecture (IA), eCommerce, Content Management Systems, project management, and client development.
Maggie specializes in marketing, branding, communications, and developing front of house service standards.
